Paul, this should be fixed in the latest Android beta 10.1 0720. It will ship to stable in a few short weeks.

You're welcome, Paul. Not all of the text editing issues are fixed in the 10.1 update. The issues I have not responded to in the forums are still being worked on/investigated. I will continue to update the forum posts as the issues get resolved.
This issue should be fixed in the 10.1 stable update we released yesterday. Can you confirm?

This issue is resolved as far as adding a carriage return now seems to work, in the situation described. However I can reliably add a carriage return in the wrong place. As you can see from the video below the carriage return is not added at the cursor, but rather at the end of the note.

Whether this is an existing issue, or a new one I am not sure.

This is fixed in Android beta 10.2.0.0034 that we just released today. Thank you.
Can't verify because the line wrapping is broken (https://community.logos.com/forums/p/212548/1239028.aspx#1239028). This makes it hard to tell what is happening with carriage returns.

This has been fixed in version 22 which will ship in a few weeks. We are investigating the other issue you mentioned above that is preventing you from seeing this fix in beta.
