Default Passage Guide

It seems to me that there should be a way to set your default PG. For example, for user created PG, you should be able to set them so that if you are in a Fact book and and want to run the PG from the Fact book, Logos should load your user created PG not the default one set by Logos. If I create a PG, then that means that I want to use that PG for my study. My understanding is that you cannot set the user created PG as the one that loads when you run a PG from the Fact book or other reports. Is this correct?

No, with a bit of yes. The PG that is used is the format of the last PG you used e.g. if you load the PG and delete 3 sections, those 3 sections remain deleted in the PG until you either add them back in or reset to the default. The same is true for the other settings and section additions.

Got it, I believe. So any PG and be edited...even the default that Logos will load from the fact book. And if I mirror their PG from my created PG, the next time I load the PG from the fact book, it will load my changes to their default PG...right?

Unless you create a custom PG (from New in the Guides menu) there is only one Passage Guide, wherever that name appears in menus and features. Whatever change you make becomes the default and is reflected in the Passage Guide you next use.

I don't use custom Guides.
