FL pricing is selecting the higher amounts

I'm not sure about the other sale items, but when I added four of the PtW Bundles into my cart, I had the expected amounts and discounts. When I then added the 41 Vol. Collection to my cart, most of the sale items were replaced with the higher priced collection, wiping out my saving. The cart pricing is not working correctly, unless it's designed that way. Sad

Well, that's not good. Bundles battling bundles.

When it was bundles (not on sale) battling singles (on sale), FL noted buy singles. I wonder if the same principle applies.

Currently the cart will automatically remove items (single-resource products or collections) that are fully contained within a larger collection that is also in the cart. Thanks for bringing this scenario to our attention; we're considering ways to improve this. For now, it may be best to purchase the (discounted) contained items in one purchase and the larger collection in another subsequent purchase.

So we're back to the way it was before the cart pricing was fixed to give us the best price. We have to do our own price comparisons and purchase the highest percentage discounted items first. Step purchasing. I wonder what happened.[^o)]

I am likely wrong but I never understood the best price routine to work on anything other than base packages.

Don't worry, there hasn't been any regression or backwards progress. We have always (well not always, but for many years) had this behavior of removing items that are fully-contained within another item -- before in-cart dynamic pricing we did this to try to prevent people from accidentally paying for the same content twice. Now, with in-cart dynamic pricing, we will attempt to price things the best way possible _for items that are in the cart_, but in this case the in-cart dynamic pricing logic doesn't get a chance to do so because the redundant item is getting automatically removed from the cart as a result of the older logic. As I said in my previous post, we're considering ways to improve this. I just wanted to make sure you knew that there has only been forward progress!
