Have some search operators changes in L10?

The Logos wiki states:

Syntax and Operators

Note that search operators must be UPPERCASE.

1. References

To search for references in the text of a resource you need to know the name that identifies the data (its datatype),
together with its value and how you want to treat that value.
The format is <datatype Op value> where Op can be:

• ~ (narrow intersection),
• = (exact match)

So, when searching for the reference to Mal 3:8 in my books, I would use <bible = Mal 3:8>

But this no longer appears to work in L10

I get a message that I would like to cut and paste here from L10 but it won't let me do a cut and paste.

ARRRGGGHHH!!! x 2

The operator seems to have been changed to bible:="Mal 3:8"

Why were the operators changed?

How many operators have changed?

This is extremely frustrating.

Hi Rod,

They tried to eliminate many of the symbols required. However, they did improve the dropdown, so when I type Mal 3.8 the dropdown allows me to select the bible and it populates the search syntax. I realize that if you memorized the old syntax it may be frustrating. I think in the long run it is an improvement.

The Wiki has a listing of new syntax, but in many cased the dropdown selection will be easier.
