I use the Comic Sans MS font for everything in L4. Since the B5 update, all of the tools and notes, clippings, etc... ignore this preference. Only resources are displaying correctly.
DeWayne, this has nothing to do with your post, but I had a question to what resource you are using (FBUB:El). I like the information that it is displaying wanted to see what exactly it is. Thanks.
Let me follow the lead of Jerry's opening words:
DeWayne, this has nothing to do with your post, but I have one question: Comic Sans—really?
As I saw someone write on Facebook recently: "Comic Sans: Perfect for lightening up the average suicide note or terrorist threat letter."

Sorry. I just couldn't resist. [:)]
This is the way the Windows version works too. Tools use the built-in UI font, which isn't changeable. Only resource windows using the font setting.
Here you can see that I am using Papyrus for my resources (it reminds me that I'm reading ancient Biblely stuff. [;)] ), but the tools windows don't use it:

Sorry. I just couldn't resist.
I guess I don't get it. I have tried lots of fonts and this one is the one I prefer. It makes the reading easier for me. Softer on my eyes.
Well, the reality is that you should use whatever font suits you best. I just thought it was funny.
There is a lot of disdain for Comic Sans in the graphic design community because they feel that it is overused and used improperly. Some folks are quite vehement in their animosity toward it.
For what it's worth, it's my wife's favorite font. When she was teaching elementary school, I used to never see her compose anything with any other typeface.
I just thought it was funny.
I thought it was funny too. But when I read what little I did from the links you provided, I just didn't get why they were so upset. But I am not a graphic designer, so I'm probably not supposed to get it.
