Another tip of the day (TOTD) series for Logos/Verbum 10. They will be short and often drawn from forum posts. Feel free to ask questions and/or suggest forum posts you'd like to see included. Adding comments about the behavior on mobile and web apps would be appreciated by your fellow forumites. A search for "L/V 10 Tip of the Day site:community.logos.com" on Google should bring the tips up.

This tip is based on the forum post: Rearranging list of books in the "explorer" tab/window... and Arranging order of commentaries - Logos Forums

In Logos/Verbum, the user can control the order that resources are presented in in some tools and guide sections. This is done by prioritization which in its simplest form is a simple drag from library main panel and drop in library prioritization panel. However, when resources are in a series, as many Bible commentaries are, there are specific rules to remember.

To open the prioritization menu, use the panel menu of the library tool.

  • To prioritize a single volume of a series, hold control as you drag-and-drop (1). The default is to prioritize the whole series.
  • To prioritize an entire series, drag-and-drop any volume from the series into the prioritization list (2). Note that the number following the series name is the number of volumes in the series that are downloaded on this machine (3).
