Reading the footnotes at times they are incomplete

Hello All, 

Logos 9.17 Windows 10 desktop.

At times  when reading a book ( In this case 1 Kings by Ralph Davis) I hover my mouse pointer over a footnote numeral at the end of a sentence and a card window pops up with information.

However sometimes, the footnote is not complete and you will find three dots at the bottom of the window ...

like so ... SO how do I read the rest of the note ?

did you try clicking on the note indicator? You are currently hovering without clicking on it.
