BUG: Search is completely dead in Logos 10

As soon as I open Library, any list of books that appears becomes frozen after showing the first 25 books. You don't even have to engage a specific search. simply opening the library and allowing it to show its opening list of books, it will freeze the list after the first 25 books. the 25th book flashes on and off on the screen as Logos tries to continue the list. I don't know if this is a flaw that is general across Logos 10 or if it is specific to Logos 10 on a Windows 11 OS. As you can imagine, this is a serious problem. The only work-around I have found is to go on a web browser, do a google search for books in the area of interest and then go back to Logos and limit my search to see if I own that specific title and access it that way.

This problem does not occur for me on Logos 10 on Win 11. It is something specific to your implementation. Could you take a screen shot and attach it via the paper-clip icon? That would allow me to eliminate some potential causes before asking for a dump.

Hi,

Thanks for you interest. I have since discovered that it isn't always the 25th book. It will hang on different books on different searches. I have attached a short video showing a couple of different scrolling attempts. You can see the last item in the list, flashing.5417.Logos Fault.mp4

I cannot reproduce but I don't have near as many resources!

You show the sidebar with Tile view by Title. What happens if you:

drag the vertical divider to give more space to the tiles
remove the sidebar
choose a different sort criteria (e.g. Title to Recent, etc.)
change from Tile view to Cover and Details

In any of the scenarios above what happens if you filter Library by entering type:commentary in the Find box?

Thanks for Jumping in. I only have that many resources because I've been here since Logos was on floppy disk. None of your suggestions worked but they did give me another idea. I opened the search in a floating window and all was well! However, as soon as I docked the panel again, it was back to the problem. So, for now, I'll have to float every search and hope this isn't just the beginning of bigger issues.

Thanks for the report and video. Looks like you are having problems with the Library not necessarily search. I'm building a vm and I'll take a look tonight and see.

Just to make sure i'm understanding correctly. When you are in the Library and you use the scrollbar to scroll down. It then locks the scrollbar and making your resource list essentially freeze and unable to scroll and see others?
