Didn't we use to be able to drag a bible text selection into a Passage List? Has that functionality been removed or is this a bug? Or am I imagining this?
I just successfully drug a Bible reference to the Passage List. I don't recall being able to do it with a selection but that doesn't mean we couldn't.
Where did you drag the reference from, a regular book?
I know I can drag a Bible text selection to a clippings document. Maybe I'm just mixing up the two. But I thought we could do both clippings documents and passage lists.
Yes - the related pericope list in a Bible, I was too lazy to remember which Logos generated data was a true citation.

I was referring to being able to select text in a Bible and drag it to a passage list.
So I can't select text like this and then drag it to a passage list?

This must be a setting, I can't do this either on Verbum 22.0 beta. I tried to copy Dave's exact example, using the Schreiner 1 Core commentary. I highlight the set of entries Rom 1:13 -> Rom 7.1. Once they are highlighted, the cursor turns to a hand. Dragging it does nothing. I wonder what's wrong?
I had no problem recreating Dave's example on Verbum desktop beta Win 11. I don't believe any setting is involved but . . .
I assume to don't get the line showing where the references will be added. Do you get the slashed red circle ... when & where does it appear? I get the dragging hand, the slashed red circle while over the resource where they can't be dropped, changed to the position here line when I cross into the passage list where they can be dropped.
If I highlight say a paragraph that has links in it, the cursor is always an arrow - never changes to the red/slash or the line to insert. If I select a verse it becomes a hand, and when I start to drag it the tooltip has the name of my preferred bible.
I assume this might be the issue - I am on Mac. It appears this does not work on Mac still? According to this a ticket was opened July 8, 2020.

Once they are highlighted, the cursor turns to a hand. Dragging it does nothing
After it turns to a hand press the Left mouse button and drag into the Passage List where it will change to a line indicating where you can insert the references. Then release the mouse button.
See above Dave - I bet this is because Drag and Drop here is still not supported on the Mac even though a ticket was created July 8 2020?
