Retrying: Bibles of the World: Languages overflow to Logos?

The Bible and parts of it have been translated to most of the known languages, and often available for free.

I recently came across this link: https://scriptureearth.org/00i-Scripture_Index.php I think it is still under construction, but it shows that there are Bibles and other resources in thousands of languages.

As far as I know the digital Bibles are tagged. Logos could produce tag converters to import those to Logos in Logos tagging format.

Christianity is inherently global and multilingual and mission-oriented. Having access to the Bible translations is essential.

I would guess that UBS and other providers would be more than happy to co-operate!

I saw your post, but sort of shrugged ... it's Faithlife. They're commercial. The same company that talked about interlinear creation years ago. But that was years ago. It's hard to say where they are today ... 'serving the [money spending] church'. And understandably, given payroll needs.

The other 'issue' is partnering. We used to live blocks away from group that was translating bunches of Bibles (today's DIU). Then later, other groups re-translating (wrong,wrong!!). And various friends. Hard to nail down exactly what's happened to all the translating threads, as groups came and went.

Your mentioned site is interesting. And import parsing is not that difficult. Main issue is the fonts. I used to bring in bunches of Bibles, but moved on.

Seems to me, a decision at Faithlife. Personally, I see more value in support for China and Korea (as examples), plus significant languages needing support (eg southeast Europe)?
