Mac Book Pro (2 yrs old) crashes after access Word Study Guide

I searched the word Doctrine and it did pull up results but then clicked on the text results in Lexham Bible... I got the circle of death multiple times.  I was never able to get the results which was only 4 texts.  Any suggestions on how to fix.

What type of search were you doing? I'm guessing a Bible search but wanted to be sure
