Insert Scripture Reference Into MS Word

I used to be able to type a reference into MS Word and then highlight that and (I believe) hit Command+E on my Mac, and it would insert the whole reference. When Word updated, it stopped working. It can still work on Pages, but that's not my processor of choice. Any chance this can be reinstated?
