Moving from a Syntax Search tab to another search type doesn't give me all the options

I'm coming up short but it's fascinating your UI dropdown has such a smaller set of list compared to mine. It your layout in Logos similar to mine. I think you had both search panels on the left hand side but they were stacked on top of each other, is that right?
Does the width of the panel matter or did you change it? Although, the dropdown list should be the same but just curious if you touched that as that's another step I could try on my test.
The screenshot below of the dropdown is the same list I see from the top panel. I'm on version 22.0 Beta 3 22.0.14

on my MacBook, by default I have a reading plan open with my daily readings - this is a three column layout with the biblical text, a notes panel, and the CBV tool. All I did was open a search panel into that layout - and it opened in the same pane as the Notes Tool
And, yes, if i make the search panel wider the problem goes away.

I'm running the same version - I also have Content Scaling set to 110% and Program Scaling to 100%

Thanks for the screenshot - I'll give it a whirl again tomorrow. I was coming up short on a replicated state, but very curious and pretty determined to figure this out. Just to confirm, these aren't floating windows correct?
