Oxford Handbooks Pricing Issue

Today I got the following in an email entitled "Save on Academic Collections and more":

55% off sounded interesting, I was disappointed to discover my actual savings:

Looks to me like no savings from the price listed in the email and 9% savings from the individual prices before being bundled together.

So Faithlife folk, which is right, the email or the web site?

BTW: I can get nine Oxford handbooks in Verbum Academic for about $83, so this email doesn't tempt me, but something is still wrong.

And, depending on what you have in your library, you may be able to get it cheaper in a package: https://www.logos.com/product/228309/logos-10-methodist-and-wesleyan-diamond. It's over $100 cheaper for me this way.

This is not an unheard of issue with FL, they use the list price to make the savings look better when promoting it than what it is compared to the real savings on their everyday price. I would prefer they stick to using the later.

Actually, I'm not sure it does. Roger. I bought Verbum Academic and several others, but there are 13 I still don't have.
