(suspected) Highlighting Bug on Mobile

I have noticed that my annotations/highlighting palette which is intended to be the same color as the text, works as intended in dark mode on my laptop, but not on my iPhone. You can see the difference in the attached screenshot (iOS on top, MacOS on bottom).
