BUG Beta 3: Panel Menu Selection issue

This is not new as it was reported during the Private beta. But it is sometimes difficult if not impossible to select/open the Panel menu.

The video shows initial success, but what follows is more typical of trying with this tab. Changing the width of the tile makes no difference. The panel menu can be selected after opening in a floating window.

The problem also occurs with the Acts tab, but not the other tabs:

Thanks for the report. I'll take a look and get back to you on what I find.

I know that Linux is not supported but it is interesting that the menu flashing problem has been present in our installs since Logos 9.16 or so. The panel menu as reported here was not and is not a problem. Our problem has been the layout, tools, documents and guides tabs work the first time and then flash. We are able to make it work with a perfect timed double click.  With Logos 10 minimizing or maximizing the side bar makes it work with one click (it seems to reset the tab).   I found this interesting and wanted to share  ...

That is interesting - as David mentioned this is quite similar to the bug we face with our Linux testing back with later Logos 9 versions (IIRC, with the CEF updates)

Dave, could you try double clicking the menu? It would be interesting to see if it works for you.

We found that double clicking opens the menus again, or if we disabled Window Manager flags in Wine for our Linux installs.

The problem seems to be resolved in Beta 4, albeit that I did some resizing of the three vertical tiles for some other testing and then restored them to near-enough their original size.

I am pretty sure I ran into Dave's experience with beta 3 on Linux. Beta 4 it is gone. I have thought from the beginning that the menu bug we experience is something that Windows is more forgiving of. There was some kind of change in the code that caused it.
