Tab Name
I saw some posts about renaming search tabs and I can see the reason for that. But is there no way to rename other things? I noticed when I added my connect the testaments reading plan I had an edit option to rename it.
My issue is some things are super long. As an example I have Listener’s Audio Bible - New International Version, NIV: Complete Bible: Vocal Performance by Max McLean (audio) and it literally shows all that on the tab and when you group it with other tabs you get something cryptic that makes no sense.
Merry Christmas all

We can't rename the tab direcly - but you can give the resource a short title and this is then what is shown in the tab if the long title doesn't fit.
To do this, open the Information pane from the resource panel menu.

Thank you so much Graham. That works perfectly and cleans things up greatly.

Just a note that I have found.... is some titles do not allow for shorter names. For example...
Thompson Chain Marginal Notes, Thompson Chain Outline Study Series and others.
xn = Christan man=man -- Acts 11:26 "....and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch".

In the sense that the system provided metadata does not provide a short title; but the user may provide one.

Then maybe I don't know how to do it.... Let's try Thompson Chain Marginal Notes....
I click on kebab (3 dots upper right) ....then click on Information.... then click on Short Title... the type in what I want for the title.... and click done (upper right hand corner).... and
bingo bango.... nothing happens.... What have I missed?

What have I missed?
I don't know - BTW the Done is to dismiss the page
- entering from the library information panel (my usual method), it updates
- entering from the resource information panel (as you did) with hitting enter after entering the title, it updates
- entering from the resource information panel (as you did) without hitting enter after entering the title, it updates
- entering from the resource information panel on a resource that is not downloaded, it updates . . .
I am considering the short title as updated when it appears in the library. I can't get the update to fail.

Just out of curiosity does it show the short title on the tab when the tabs are loaded up?

Depends upon the available space. It will first load the full title; if there is insufficient space it will switch to the short title.

So sounds like its working as designed. Long title till it runs out of space and then short title.
I have edited both of mine.

Well flip flop! Not trying prolong things but mine does not change! I can change others but not "Thompson Chain Marginal Notes"....
Here is what I changed it to....
And here is what it is...
It doesn't show the change I made. I re-booted Logos, even re-booted pc... still does not show change.

You might also consider adding the appropriate column to your library index so that you can see which item have 'Abbreviated Titles' and what those titles might be.
