Highlighting and searching

Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong. I highlight passages and was hoping to search through those highlights. doesn’t seem to work. See screen shot below. There seems to be no text to search on any of the highlights I’ve done in the last few months. Also when I search the notes after selecting highlights it never returns anything. Thank you.

    Hi Joe. I'm unable to reproduce at this time. I can search highlights and the text within the notes that are highlighted.
