Quick Access Feature on Toolbar
I was watching a Morris Proctor video training and he was using something called a "Quick Access" feature on the toolbar where you can put things for quick access. How can I get that on my Logos toolbar?

Try opening your library and dragging a book to the tool bar.

Once the icon is on the toolbar, then right mouse click on in and in the folder section that opens up type "Quick". You can repeat this and when you enter the folder name, all the icons move to that folder.,

Dragging from a tab or Library will do it.

Oh - OK . . . maybe I misunderstood what MP was indicating in his video. I do have several tools and books on the toolbar (including saved layouts) but for some reason I was under the impression that there was something like a folder called "Quick Access" that kept these things available without taking up more room on the toolbar. If that isn't what MP was referring to, it might be a suggestion to the Logos developers to add something like that so that the actual toolbar doesn't get overcrowded with icons.

There can be. You simply need to put the icons in a folder called Quick Access.
- Expand shortcut bar to show icons not in a folder
- Right click to open shortcut attributes
- Enter name in folder e.g. Quick Access

There was a folder, but it was user set up via the steps Mike described above ...
You right click on one of the icons you have on the toolbar, then in the dialogue which opens you enter "Quick access" (or whatever you want to call it, such as "Q", etc) into the "folder" input field. Now your toolbar will show this folder on the toolbar. You can then take any of your other shortcut items on the toolbar, right click and repeat the procedure and enter the same folder name in the dialogue. You will notice that the items / icons no longer are on the toolbar itself but they are within that toolbar folder and no longer take up space on your toolbar. A click on the folder shows the list of items in the folder and with a click you open the item.
This procedure can be repeated, and - for example - you could make shortcut folders for "layouts", "commentaries", etc. which you would like to open from the shortcuts toolbar.Wolfgang Schneider

This is a great feature. Appreciate this forum. This will allow me to create a few folders for resources.
Merry Christmas all.
