When I click on the Logos icon (task bar, desktop or start menu) I get the splash screen for a second and then nothing. What correction is needed? Thanks.
Hi Walter - and welcome to the forums
Sorry to hear you are having problems
Do the suggestions at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360008044592-What-to-do-if-Logos-Crashes-Windows help at all?
If none of those specific suggestions help please create diagnostic logs - there is guidance on doing that at the bottom of that page - and upload logs in a reply to this post (use the paperclip icon in the forum editor to do this)
Graham
I used your suggestions and it still does not run. When I run the install it just says my version is up-to-date and does nothing. Since it is not a crash there are no diagnostic logs. Can I just uninstall and try the install again?
Since it is not a crash there are no diagnostic logs.
Logs should still be created
Try following steps 1 and 2 at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027869132-How-to-Enable-and-Submit-Log-Files and see if there are any logs
Can I just uninstall and try the install again?
You could but there is no guarantee it would fix the problem.
Has this just started after Logos has been running successfully previously or is this a new installation that has never worked properly?
I tried the ctrl+click icon and I don't even get the splash screen. It is a new problem - I have been using Logos9 since it replaced WordSearch12.
It might be quicker to reinstall as follows:
It took a while but I did get Logos9 running again. Thanks for you help.
