Feature request - Windows pen/touch
I am relatively new to Logos, but was disappointed to find that pen/touch functions on my Microsoft surface machines do not work with Logos. It seems from browsing this forum that this is the norm, and not a setting that I am missing. I do not see a feature request sub-forum so am making it here. Is this in the pipeline at all? I have not upgraded to Logos 10, but would do so immediately if that was part of the upgrade. In other words, the pen functions for highlighting while reading in tablet mode is an important part of my normal workflow. Thanks for listening, Mike Atnip

Yep ... Faithlife is a mouse company. It's in their corporate bylaws (joking).
You might take a look voting for 'touch', if it's similar to what you're seeking:
Or create a pen-specific suggestion, though that tends to become a lost sheep (fragmented voting).

There is already a pen-specific suggestion on the Feedback board, which would be good to vote for as well:

This one actually says "The pen actually surprising works pretty well with highlighting Bible passages and such. Optimizing this would be rad!" So I'm surprised you're finding this does not work at all. I'm not a pen/tablet user, so I can't try it out for you, but perhaps other users who have a Surface and use Logos on it can help you get it working at least to a "non-optimized" level, in hopes of future "radness" down the road.

I left a comment on both of these feature requests. I assume that means a "vote." I did not see a "vote" button.

To "vote" you click on the number to the left of the subject line, and that will cause the number to increment by 1 and turn green (indicating you've already voted for it).

Well, I may have spoken too quickly. Today I used Logos and the pen worked pretty much like it should, except it did seem just a little draggy (slow) in responding sometimes. Maybe all I needed was to restart the application? I don't know. I will see if it continues working. Sorry for the false alarm if it was simply needing a refresh on the application.
