Apple ipad m2/m1 or 128/256?

If I have logos 10 with Baptist Gold will it work well or have enough space on an ipad pro?

Is 128 on an 11 inch ipad pro m2 powerful enough with enough space or overkill?

I just want to run Ms office and accommodate logos 10 and a large library on some 11 inch ipad?

Anyone and everyone please comment.

The base model iPad Pro (128GB) would be enough... but you should not download your entire library. There are increasing "offline" features, but the mobile app still assumes a steady intenet connection for regular usage. Downloading your entire library is ill advised.

I know that several of us have already encouraged you to look at the cheaper models. Logos wise, there is currently no compelling reason to look at the Pros (unless the size of the screen is an issue...)

This should NOT replace a computer.

If one is studying for personal growth, reading for personal growth or even for preparation in group study one might well find that a tablet is adequate for the task.

If one is preparing worship, preparing classes on a professional basis, preparing for publication then their is a duty to consumers to ensure that the best material has been consulted and the content arranged and presented in the most accessible way. For this I would not want to be doing the work on anything less than a computer (laptop or desktop) with a couple of monitors that I could transfer material between applications and even floating panels.

One needs to choose the right tool for the job.

Agreed. Many might suggest I make do with my Surface Pro 3 or even reread a print Bible. Decisions Decisions. Happy new year all. Blessings from Rhode Island. I have an iPad Air 3 With 256gb. My entire library fits on it (~10,400 works). It’s not a computer replacement though.

An iPad can't preach or teach.

If you mean, "Can a pastor only use an iPad to prepare his or her sermons?," then the answer is obviously, "yes." I don't think any of us who have responded has touched on that topic. Personally, I would not study nor prepare my sermons on an iPad. There are people who do.

This forum is for Logos Bible Software and the responses you will get will be largely those of us who use Logos Bible Software. An iPad cannot adequately replace what is possible using the desktop app.

I know that Economy is always an issue with you. I don't know why you would invest $800-$1200 on an iPad Pro. If I were you, had a budget of $1200 and still wanted an iPad to preach from (and to read resources in Logos), I would buy a regular iPad ($329 unless on sale) and spend the balance of the $1200 on a desktop computer.

Instead, however, If I only had $1200... I would buy a MacBook Air and forgo the iPad.
