How do I get my preferred commentaries to open in a saved layout?

For example. In the top two panels, which are linked as A and the bottom three panels which are linked set to B how do I get my preferred commentaries set to open to my preferred Bible which is linked as A?

Or, every time I search for a passage (top left panel - preferred Bible) how can I get my priority commentary to auto open.

mm.

Link Sets (I.e. “A” or “B”) will scroll together <if> the resources are set the same (I.e. all set to “A”) AND if the resources all have the same organization (Bible reference, headword).

As for auto open, you create the layout with the resources you want and save it.

in the top left panel, which is the ESV, how do I prioritize my commentary to open whenever I type in a verse? So, if I type in John 3.16 the ESV will go to it, but how do I have my commentary open to that search?

So, if I type in John 3.16 the ESV will go to it, but how do I have my commentary open to that search?

By having the ESV and the commentary (series) being in the same link set. If you are talking about having different commentary series being prioritized for different books of the Bible, it can be done but I would consider carefully the effects on other functions before doing it

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

You will have to decide what functionality is more important, but I would suggest linking your commentaries to set A instead of set B, when the  ESV at bottom left acts only as a target for hyperlinks. If you want commentaries to open as well, then choose a different commentary(s) for set B.
