scripture lists and searching note files (and other user generated info)

What is the easiest way to make a list of scriptures when you are doing basic research. Today, I was working on discipleship and did a bible search. It turned up many verses and I started going through them and pulling out the ones I thought were most helpful and relevant. But when it pulled up a verse in AMP, it wouldn't let me drag it to list in AMP it came out in niv and i figured there must be an easier way to do that? In Passage guide or clippings or what.

Another question, I have a lot of information in my note files etc. When I do a search it pulls it up but it doesn't tell you where in that information to find it (not highlighted etc). Is there a way to do that search that takes you directly to the word you are looking for rather than just getting a list of my note files etc. ?

Have you considered using a Passage list? Check out the wiki entry on it. http://wiki.logos.com/Passage_List . A quick question, what is AMP? I'm a little unclear on what you are doing so I don't know how to best respond to your question beyond pointing you to passage lists.

The search results don't direct you to the spot desired in a note file, this is a limitation of L4 that I hope is address sometime. Right now you can use Ctrl+F to help you find items in the note file.

Also, you might want to change your forum name away from your email address so spam bots can't pick it up. Be sure to follow the directions carefully, it's counter-intuitive. http://wiki.logos.com/Changing_Forum_Display_Name

Alas, I'm not sure of a way to mix translations in a passage list. Passage list uses your preferred version. The ability to mix translations would be a great feature addition.

A quick question, what is AMP?

Assume he means Amplified version.

While you can't mix versions you can have any version you choose in a passage list, it doesn't have to be your preferred one.

Thanks for the correction. It will display the version you enter at the top. And it's worth noting, it will display multiple versions if you enter them with a comma:

There is an item on uservoice asking for the ability to include the version in any reference which would remove this limitation (which drives me nuts).
