Changing Text Copy format settings
Is there a way to change the text copy format size--so that when I copy and paste text, it pastes it at Calibri font, size 12 for English. I'd like it to paste at size 11. Anyone know how to change this setting?

The answer to your question is likely to depend on the program receiving the data that you wish to insert.
The most obvious answer for programs like Pages is to use cmd+shift+V which will ensure that the text is inserted into the document in the style specified at the cursor. All you need to do before pasting is ensure that the desired 'style' is set. I guess that there are windows equivalents.

Doing the equivalent of this in windows does not include the reference as a footnote, which is important to me.

That bit of information was missing from your original post.
I don't believe there is a way to get footnotes to appear as footnotes in Pages.
However when I use word on my Mac and copy directly from an open panel in Logos and then either use Cmd+V or Cmd+Shift+V the text copies into the body of the page and the footnotes to the footnote area.

The Settings in Word 365 allow me to Merge Formatting which produces Calibri 11 as opposed to Source being Calibri 12.The footnote remains at Calibri 11, so I would have to change it after a session of copy/paste i.e. that appears to be a limitation not readily overcome.
