Long time user of the TCR . . . but I find, as I am hoping someone else here shares my experience, that I am wanting to add my own margin references and topical indexes to the already fine Thompson index system.  Thompson did not know everything, obviously, and so he could not have indexed all the possible insights we all come up with.

How could we 'add' margin references and topical indexes to make our own customized TCR?

Surely I am not the only one that has wrestled with this am I?  I like what LOGOS has done with the TCR and I want to add to it.

Don't have time to invent the wheel on this.

Wiser voices will speak up, but until they do, I'm sure the answer is "no." If you want to find the resource file, crack it open, decipher it, and create your own application to amend it you're welcome to try, of course (this is still America), but no Logos resources are user-editable.

Yes, figured out how to do it using a hybrid approach . . . a bit of Logos and a bit of Word . . . all working as a symphony.  It helps to know VBA.

I ended up inventing my own wheel.  Would be interested in hearing from others if they figured out how to do this as well and how they did it.

Now I have my own customizable TCR . . . TCR and my own thoughts, margin notes and links, and topical indexes all mixed together.
