Sentence diagram help needed

For #1 I find clicking in the middle of a word and then using the arrow keys to move over to enter punctuation is the most reliable way to get the punctuation in the right spot.

I would be interested to see if #2 is possible, right now it doesn't look like it.

Deleting a portion of the text. When I attempt to highlight the portion I wish to remove, the entire text is selected.

I've noticed this too. I would like to be able to work with portions of the text. Ultimately I have to use the text for line diagrams.

Well I don't have to worry about any of this now because in Beta 7, my diagrams will not even display. The box just appears blank.

Yeah Kevin, I just saw that. Bummer. I had the first 8 chapters of Romans diagrammed. A lot of hours of worked was just burned up. I still have them on my laptop but the mobo fried in it yesterday. I may be able to retrieve the data from the hard drive but who knows if they will still even load.

I'll get back around to it some time. I'm still having the time of my life studying the word though.

I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. It is NOT our intention to "break" or abandon earlier user data during a beta process. This happens all the time as part of developing the tool, but should happen (except in dire circumstances, which I don't think we've ever seen) once a beta goes out in the world.

We have all gotten back on the same page about this, and we're working to restore access to earlier versions of your diagrams. We'll keep you posted.

This was a very frustrating event. However, 1) this is beta and can happen, 2) I am very pleased with Logos's response to the problem and their efforts to correct it, and 3) even if I had to do them again, it was a great learning experience so no big deal. This will all be water under the bridge soon.

I pray they can recover even the ones I opened. I did not realize you had already linked to that thread and thought it might be a case of "better safe than sorry". I don't know what kind of backup system Logos has in place for a boo-boo like this.

Thank you Bob. This would be a real bummer if we lost our diagrams for good, far worse than an inconvenience.

I think this may be demonstrating that the ability to make a local (or cloud...I don't care) backup of our whole Logos4 system is a must.

just released beta version of a note backup program in Files, will try to extend it to cover more document types before I release final version
