Personal books; text input fields

I have tried for about 4 hours to put a text input box in  my personal book with no success. The moment I remove that syntax the personal book builds with no problem. I ran into a post that said something about this function not being worked on in mac only in windows. Please help 

I’m using Logos 10 Gold on a Macbook pro 2020!

From the earlier posts, we know that FL is aware of the problem and have a case for it. I see nothing in the bug reports or in the release notes indicating that it has been fixed. Therefore, I would assume it is known to still be a problem and that it is not a quick and easy fix. I do not know enough about Mac architecture to know why this is likely true.
