Why I don't use Logos/Verbum Help- an appeal for votes on suggestions

Our Logos/Verbum application is tied into its Help file in many ways:

  1. When first using a feature, a Help card is offered -- this feature is lacking in Verbum for no obvious reason.
  2. The application menu has a link to open the Help file, followed by other help features.
  3. The panel menu offers a link to the appropriate section of the Help file. IIRC Logos but not Verbum offer a link to a Faithlife discussion group here as well.
  4. In some panels, more detailed information is available under an icon of a question mark. On hover, one sees a preview of Help; on click, the Help file is opened to the appropriate detail.

My concerns with the Help file are actually rather minor:

  • there is inconsistency in the level of detail so I haven't developed confidence that it will answer my question or that it is not worth looking because it doesn't intend to cover things at that detail
  • for the detail entries, the data has not been edited with respect to the preview which should provide the most critical information but is erratic in provide it up front i.e. in preview
  • there are several items missing
  • there are many suggestions, but Faithlife has not kept up on their status - some are done but ...

Still, I do remember when there was almost no documentation and want FL to know I do appreciate the huge progress that has been made.

Suggested projects - unedited, simply all that I found.
