How do I add existing notes under a new note (e.g., a category note)?

Problem:

I want to add an existing note under a new note, not anchor as this does not work without having to delete and recreate the note.

What I'm trying to do:

As I learn Logos and read resources for seminary, I begin to see that it would be better to have a Categorical note, say "Tradition" and have notes (or sub-notes) under that note to better organize my thoughts and subject related notes in my Notebook.

What I have tried:

Reading through Logos helps and Community forums and it is either unrelated to too complicated to understand.

So logical responses to such a question as mine that would help are 1) No you cannot, or 2) yes you can. Perform this: Step 1, ... Step 2, ... Step 3..., or 3 provide the source that "directly" explains "how-to" without over-complicated explanations. I simply don't have the time or hours to learn how to do simple logical tasks.

There is no note-hierarchy aside from notebook\note. Some alternatives would be tags and labels, both found at the bottom of the note (label on the bottom right).

An alternative would be the favorites tool with nested folder, but can be laborious in my experience, but others have made great use of it. You can also create links between notes that you you want tied to each other. Also, Search can be used to go through your notes like any other resource.

I think I am understanding your request... if not I apologize.... but...

Do you understand the use of "Notebooks" in Notes?  You might review this: Using Notes

I use Notebooks to "generally categorize" my notes.. I generally anchor a note to a verse, etc... and I do have many notes for example... about a single verse... I do it this way...

    Anchor: John 3:16

Title: Belief <- I highlight the title to a different bold color....

    --- my note about belief....

Title: Jesus <- again highlighted to the title bold color...

    --- my note about Jesus...

In my unanchored notes.... which I have many of.... I do the same thing but with no anchor.

All my notes belong to some Notebook... but not all my notes have anchors.

Then in the "tag" for the note... I would have a tag on belief... and a tag on Jesus.

Then I can search notes to find by tag or by words "Title: Jesus"

Now...  what you describe seems to be notes with no anchors.... and I believe the searching  I described above will work...   You can still put a note with no anchor in a notebook...and you can still search it...

    Hopefully I've understood your request....
