BUG? Different color palettes in different tools

I just noticed this, when trying to figure out why the colors in my Note icons weren't looking quite the same as the colors in my Highlights.  Not only are there more colors in the highlighting tool, but the highlight colors are a little brighter, clearer than the note icon colors.  It would be nice if the same color-picker would show up in all the places across the entire platform where colors can be selected.  (And if I had to choose, I prefer the clearer color palette over the grayer one.)

This issue is probably connected with the one discussed in this 2021 thread: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/202260/1176348.aspx#1176348.  I understand that user's frustration at finding his old notes and his new notes didn't match, which triggered the reversion to the old note icon palette.

However, I like to create highlight palettes for different studies, linked to notebooks for those studies, and use the highlight palette as my starting point for those notes.

In the note tool, we can now select "use icon color" for the note highlight.  Is it possible to set up a similar "use highlight color" choice for the note icon?  It seems like this would meet the needs of both users who start from the Note tool and users who start from the Highlighting tool.

My weekly bump of posts without responses in hopes of getting them an appropriate response.
