Why I don't use Parallel Passages - an appeal for votes on suggestions
Parallel Passages provide an unusual problem within Logos/Verbum - a guide and 3 partial interactives. By partial, I mean not only that they customized for a particular segment of scripture but also that they cover only part of the resources in that segment available. This makes it difficult to feel comfortable that you've explored the most productive parallel for the text you are studying.

While I would like to see a more cohesive approach, in mulling it over for several years, I still don't have an elegant suggestion. Suggestions that are on the feedback site include:
- Add a parallel passages function to the Bible resource task bar | Faithlife (a possible solution of parallel passages as an optional view in a Bible resource)
- Please highlight the base reference in Parallel Passages Guide | Faithlife
- Add parallel pericopes to Important Passages | Faithlife (or do they belong only in Parallel Passages? either way they are currently a personal book not a Logos resource)
- Put links to parallels in Bibles | Faithlife (I'd lean towards putting links in the Context Menu - I'm not keen on adding to the resource's text). The alternative is suggested here Improve linking to parallel passages | Faithlife
- Expand gospel harmony to include Q and the Gospel of Thomas | Faithlife (I know there is a print book that does this)
- Expand/contract in Parallel Passages Guide section | Faithlife
- parallel passages in passage guide enhancement | Faithlife
- Parallel Passages Upgrade | Faithlife (not sure I understand this request)
While trying to wrap your head around this issue, you might also want to consider if you are satisfied with the handling of references to events narrated elsewhere or the parallels between scripture and Josephus, Philo, pseudepigrapha . . .
