The new UI for the search simply transferred forward some misleading elements:
- Match case should be grayed out unless there is a text term in the search argument for it to apply to.
- Ditto for Match all forms
- Reference matching should be grayed out if there is no datatype or keyword in the search argument to which reference matching applies.
- A warning message should be produced when a search field filter has been requested but cannot be applied to all terms in the search argument.
For many of my searches, 3 or 4 of the elements show in the UI as a "required" element but are, in fact, simply interface noise with no effect on my results.
