Timeline Question

I have yet to come to appreciate the usefulness of the Timeline tool in Logos. It looks like a slick tool, but whenever I try using it for something useful, I fail. 

Here is an example: I was trying to search for Pilate in order to pin down the date of Pilate bringing into Jerusalem the Roman standards as described in Josephus, Antiquities 18.54-59. 

The timeline did return no results. But then, through the Factbook I came across the LBD, which does mention a date for the event, and even includes a timeline flag for 26 A.D. 

Why does this date and event of at least Pilate's arrival not show up in the Timeline Tool?

What ... is this a test for Advanced Placement at Logosian University?

I spent 10 minutes before throwing in the towel.  I can't imagine a worse UI design.  Oh wait.  The previous one was .... well, similar.  I don't know why Bob's book keeps coming to mind.

It seemed like Whack-A-Mole ... selecting choices to see what would pop up.  And no prize either.

Not one to 'just give up', and trying hard to think like a Faithlife'r, I tried out 'Jerusalem' concerning the Josephus account.  That brought up Herod's Siege of Jerusalem in 37 AD.  What?  I clicked on it for more info ... yep, a book I don't need.  Probably Herod may be been resurrected by Logos!
