Richard Hay's method of Intertextuality

hello everyone I am looking to see how intertextuality is done. I have heard Richard Hays and Kristeva were the forefathers. Does anyone have a excerpt of Hays' work in intertextuality, preferably from Echoes of Scripture in the Letters of Paul?
