Searching Range of Bible Books that are not concurrent

I am creating a shortcut to search only the prison epistles. (Using Mac's Text Replacement tool for the shortcut)

It is easy to search a range of books that are concurrent. For example a Law only search would be 'IN bible:gen-deut'

However, I have not found an easy way to search two or more books of the bible that are non-concurrent. To search the prison epistles I need to search Eph., Phil., Col, and Philemon.

The first three would be easy: 'IN bible:eph-col' But getting Philemon in there was tricky.

This is what I found works: 'search term IN bible:eph-col OR bible:phile'

The above search argument will search the range eph-col and it will search Philemon also.

Anybody know of an easier way to search non-current books?

The reason I am asking is because in my other Bible program this search would be easily done by typing: search term [RANGE eph-col;phile]

Oh, very nice MJ! I hadn't noticed that. And you can save the custom ranges and name them, too! I just created the Prison Epistles custom range via the Logos reference range from your tip. Thank you!

A couple of questions:

1 - Is there a keyboard shortcut to that brings up the reference range menu?

2 - Can you type a search argument for a pre-defined (provided by Logos) or custom range or does it have to be selected by mouse click?

One of my goals is to not to have to reach for the mouse when entering searches.

At present I can get this Prison Epistle search by typing: my search term and 'ppri' (again, I am using the Mac Text Replacement to do this).

Since I am one who prefers to never take my hand off the mouse and I use a PC, I think I'm better let someone else answer.
