Hey there,
you often hear that Jesus talked most about Hell in the Gospels. I want to research if that saying is true, so i am trying to get a TOP 10 List in Logos about the Topics Jesus talked about.
How can i create such a list?
The Bible Browser Tool - filtered by Speakers: Jesus could provide a useful starting point
Thanks for your help! Thats a great tool for that task but now i am realising that it is quite difficult to generate such a list. Because there are that many different Datasets to choose from and every Dataset has it weaknesses. e.g. The Topic Dataset, witch I was planning to use does include Mark 9,42 where I think Jesus is not talking about hell but misses Matthew 13,50..
An excellent time to make your own list; not regurgitated Logos labels.
For example (your hell question), differentiate teaching, vs arguing/consequences. Oddly, Jesus described heaven features more than Gehenna features.

Totally agree it's quite a challenge!
The Topic Dataset, witch I was planning to use does include Mark 9,42 where I think Jesus is not talking about hell but misses Matthew 13,50..
And that's one of the challenges as different people have different views on the focus of a passage.

I would be interested in your results. And I may join you in attempting to bring an answer to light.
Totally agree with you, problem is that, especially when you are a volunteer, that time is scarces ressource..
But it is definitely a great project to create you own list free from any tags
you often hear that Jesus talked most about Hell in the Gospels.Which author(s) make this claim? I don't believe it to be truth. My closeness to the Word causes me to be of the opinion that Jesus speaks most of the Kingdom, whether that be of God or of heaven or whether that be literally or by parable. This certainly is an important project! I would be interested in your results. And I may join you in attempting to bring an answer to light.
I am thinking the same as you. Especially because of Verses like Luke 4,43 for example where he tells us that his teaching is primary about the good news of the kingdom of God.
This is one of the articles: https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/article/the-uncomfortable-subject-jesus-addressed-more-than-anyone-else/
And here is a List that is probably a good starting point from a first glance at it: http://len-seekingthelord.blogspot.com/2014/02/the-top-ten-things-jesus-taught.html
