An improved experience for passage lists on the Logos Web app was released today. We've enabled a subset of the features available on the Desktop app for Logos Web.

What is it?

Passage List documents allow you to save your favorite verses or search results so you can return to them later.

Some of the included enhancements are as follows:

  • Add/Edit/Delete capabilities within the passage list document
  • Compact and full-view swapping
  • Copy/Cut/Paste capabilities
  • Reorder passage list items via drag & drop
  • Clicking the passage reference opens the users preferred Bible
  • Infinite scroll a passage list
  • Autoscroll when drag & drop is focused at the bottom of a passage list
  • Delete an entire passage list via the panel menu
  • Increased performance via decreased load times, and more responsive view switching from full to compact views

We did not include these features:

  • Inserting multiple passages
  • Add menu options
  • Versions menu options
  • Merge menu options

How to access it?

  1. Open the Logos Web app (app.logos.com)
  2. Click on the documents icon
  3. Click the “New” dropdown button and select passage list or open any existing passage list for document-specific features

Note

Web features include a subset of the existing features of passage lists on Logos Desktop. Not all features of the desktop application are available on the web application.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on this new feature. Please provide your feedback in the comments below.

On what platform will passage list be in par with desktop app first, is mobile passage list easier to add features or on web app. I make use of passage list a lot when doing cross reference study and I have to work between the iOS app and web app to do study. Which we had a platform besides desktop that could most of things.

Is there any way to add an option on selecting a verse to add to passage list. When using on iPad without keyboard and you need to see a verse from cross ref section the on display keyboard of iPad limits your view. So highlight will not bring keyboard up.
