It appears to take the syllable markers as markers of new words causing it to search for words beginning with is- rather than ab-
I'll take a look at this as well.
Is the screenshot below what you are looking for? I agree, the autocomplete is showing words that start with 'ism" but I don't think we have any suggestions that would match the input either since they are pre-defined per sey.
So, if you just add Absurdism in without the bullet points. Is that what you are expecting? I can chat with the team on seeing if we can improve, but this might be more of a feature request.
Yes, my thinking is:
that term should have the same manipulation taken into consideration e.g. the syllable markings stripped rather than requiring that I retype the entry
Yeah, I can see what you mean. I'll write up a case and double check to see if we can ignore the special characters and treat it as a regular string here.
Okay, I did some more digging -- it looks like the current behavior is correct and generally speaking the symbol can and is reasonable to treat as a word-breaking character. Not saying a smoother autocomplete would be good here. Just making a note with the current behavior. If this behavior is a dire situation, can you add that suggestion to our feedback board here --> https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-desktop-app
Thanks!
