I found something unsettling...

What happened to Eisenbrauns resources on the Logos Catalog? Are you no longer selling Eisenbrauns books??

It is one of the more serious, academical publishers you have. If Eisenbrauns would become not available in Logos, that would be a serious drawback for my interest in the Libraries...

That's from selecting Eisenbrauns from a Eisenbrauns product page.

Maybe they're renegotiating, since the product pages (from Googling) are still intact. Just no-buy.

Good catch. I spot checked several of my Eisenbrauns publications and couldn't see them. That is unfortunate. I hope they work out licensing (or whatever) things.

Yikes! Glad i have not waited to purchase those titles (mostly) I wanted. FL needs to keep those academic publishers. They bring a different crowd of purchasers

'Normally' is there's silence on the Western Front, they're working it (they never discuss). If the publisher is dead, they speak up eventually. I notice the product pages are still there.

With the decision Eisenbrauns has taken to remove their content from Logos, one of the saddest losses will be some of their language resources, such as Mark Futato's "Beginning Biblical Hebrew". Which is an excellent introduction to Biblical Hebrew and also integrated with Mark's Mobile Ed course (HB101 - Introduction to Biblical Hebrew).

Agreed. In addition to beginning grammars, they offer many good works on aspects of Hebrew that will not be replaced. Plus, their language texts on Akkadian, Hittite, Ugaritic, etc., are even harder to replace. (Full disclosure: I won't spend sleepless nights wondering where my next volume of Hittite grammar will come from.) Plus, some narrative works (like Adele Berlin's Poetics and Interpretation of Biblical Narrative) are seminal and cannot be replaced.

So to answer Armando Javier Arteaga Unigarro's question, sometimes we can't go anywhere else. [:'(]

The loss is to be regretted. I notice some of their publications are still available through a competitor, so I hope FL can work things out.

I just noticed Eisenbrauns was gone as well, since I just noticed the resources in my library were very scholarly I was looking for more from them and there was nothing.
