Extracting list of Scriptures from writing

I saw another post in the forum that recommended the Concordance feature to extract a list of Scriptures from a reference that is included in Logos. I have a slightly different use case. I am in the process of writing a book and I wanted to create an index of the Scriptures that are within the document. Is there any way to accomplish this in Logos?

I'm assuming - correct me if I am wrong - that your book is outside of Logos.

I would look at creating a Passage List and then adding passages to it

either by copying the text of your book and adding passages from the clipboard
or by saving a version of your book in a text file and adding passages from that file

Then you could export the Passage List and use this as the basis for the index for your book

Hi Joseph,

One idea is to import it into Logos as a personal book. You can run a concordance on personal books in the same way as regular resources. The only thing you will need to make sure to do is tag your page numbers in the Word document (just edit the footer so that is is [[@Page:<insert the page number thing here>]]. Then import it into the Logos personal book tool and run a concordance for references. Set it to heading so it will give you all of your references in canonical order. I did not do the page milestones in my book, but if you have them, they will show up next to each reference. Unfortunately, the export feature is absolutely useless on Concordance, so you will still need to make your index manually unless someone else knows a trick I do not.
