Bidding ends at noon, Pacific time, Friday, 8/13
Currently at $12 for 1700 page, 6 volume set.
Will be $69.95 when it leaves CP pricing.
A few more bids before the deadline could drop it to only $9.

With a half hour to go, it's down to $6 !!!
Wahooo! Just sorry that others waited to participate since we might have had the product in production much sooner; if the last call folks ...
Who are all of these last minute deciders??? Glad they got in on this and saved all of us some money, but there's no extra discount for holding out until the last hour. With this interest a couple of weeks ago we'd have had it back then.
20 minutes left!
Has the production cost dropped. It has soared past six dollars. If it is just late bidders, then I say please, bid early and more titles will be put into production sooner for a cheaper price. Imagine what the price would be if the late bidders had come in from Monday?
Now that it's in pre-pub, I wonder how long will it take for Logos to make it available for download?

There is still only a small subset of Logos users that use CP. I vaguely remember a post by Bob or Dan which intimated that if every Logos user bid, they could put everything into production for $1. (note, this is not a precise quote in any fashion, just my bad memory at work).
perhaps I'm thinking of this post:
If everyone bid their high bid the week we put it live, in theory every community priced title that was going to make it would do so in the first week, at the best price.
Or this one: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/6745/55131.aspx#55131
Practically speaking, it's easier to get 100 people to spend $1,000 than to get 1,000 to spend $100, or 10,000 to spend $10.
Thank you to all the last minute bidders!
Price dropped in half this morning!

That's always a good question. I have some Community Pricing titles that I locked in the end of February and early March that have not yet been published. So six months is likely. I'd love to be surprised.
Mark,
I was one and then my friend makes two. Without your post on another thread, I would have missed it so thank you. And, I need to remember to check the Community Pricing Page in its entirety! [:$]
I have a prepub on order since 1/4/2010 that still has no "Anticipated ship date." Others from 2/5/2010, 2/19/2010, 3/19/2010. I would like to point out that an undelivered resource is a useless resource. Interestingly I also have one for 6/11/2010 that has only 27 pages but has no ship date. The long lag time for resources from pre-order to delivery is a problem Logos should address.
(I am not referring to Pre-Pubs which have only "gathering interest" status, one of which I have that dates back to 9/28/2008.)
Robert
Nice "Community" effort! Now everyone head over to the Barnes' Notes on the OLD AND NEW Testaments!!! It will probably end up going for $25 for over 10,000 pages!!! Bid $30 and let's get this one into production!!!
