Good morning all. I would like to ask all of you that has been using Logos for a while and on both platforms. I am new with Logos and do go to deep in studying. I am mostly mobile and there for an ipad work great for me. But I want to know is the Logos Mobile just as good as Desktop when using things like notes, clippings, factbook. I read daily a portion of Scripture and then in what I read I makes my notes and clippings. Example today it was in Num 10 where God told Moses to make 2 silver trumpet. so my study is trumpets. What it look like and what was the reason it was used for and then all the events. Another example is salt and light. I makes what it means and the background related to that and then how I can be salt and light in todays world. So based on how I do study does ń desktop or laptop really work better than ipad. As I would rather use the money you spend on a new device use that for more resources on logos.

In general, the Mobile app is much less feature-rich and capable than the desktop.

But with reference to the three specific tools there is pretty much parity as far as I can see. The only significant difference i can think of is that on desktop you can set up Visual Filters so that only specific notebooks show in a book, such as a Bible, so you can control whether icons relating to your research on trumpets, for example, are visible. You can't do this on mobile.

And then it also depends on where you want to link to from the Factbook. In the See Also section, for example, there is a link to the Topic Guide on Trumpet.

This Guide only contains four different sections on mobile whereas it contains 19 on desktop including, for example, other places where trumpets are mentioned
