Two monitor problem

I am using two monitors side by side and they have different resolutions, and with no scaling (intentionally).

The toolbar is on the left in the main monitor.

When aiming to the toolbar, the mouse pointer easily jumps out to the left monitor, and when I grab the mouse pointer back to the main monitor it is in a different vertical position. (This mouse behavior is relatively new, after a manufacturer update, and is generally just fine).

This is a moderate level nuisance and I cannot find a quick solution. In long run I might buy a touch monitor and put it horizontally in front of the main monitor as it can also replace the mechanical keyboard. In that case the touch monitor would be configured below the main monitor and I'll get rid of this problem.

Just wonder, will some of us have other ideas for the current situation, or for the long run solution?

You could move the toolbar to the right.

I am sure you could do this in beta, does not look like can now though, perhaps I was imagining something else, I will check.

Edit - nope I can find nothing to support previous suggestion.

A few other suggestions, which you have likely considered but lets see:

Swap your screens around so the bar is on the left of the left monitor.
Put the bar at the top
Roll back whatever update/driver was installed.

My multi-monitor Windows setup behaves like yours for all programs.

If you search for the "Duplicate or extend to a connected display" you should be able to reposition the monitors to how they line up. In the shots below you can see that I can drag one monitor around to match it's relative physical position. Maybe you can try playing with that setting?

I found the culprit. I unchecked the box surrounded by red. Now it works like before, stopping at the lower left edge. Of cause this is a matter of taste:

I almost bought a new compatible monitor for the left side. Depending on the model, the 3840x2160 monitors cost from 400 to 4000 dollars, so I can think the FL marketing way that I saved 4000 dollars!
