here's what my screen word document looks like. Any suggestions to fix the problem?
Can you go to the book from which you exported the text, click on the panel menu, select the copy location as URL option, and then paste the result here?
Looks like it's this:
logosres:louwnida;ref=LouwNida.70.3;off=217
It works perfectly fine on my machine. Can you upload the word document?
0878.test1.doc
Okay, so I tried copy / paste from NA27 into a word file and it didn't work.
Matt
It displays perfectly on my machine (at least as far as I can tell; I'm not actually a text display expert—I just play one on TV). It is possible that you do not have the necessary fonts installed on your system. Try installing Gentium (http://scripts.sil.org/cms/scripts/page.php?site_id=nrsi&id=gentium) and see if you still have this problem.
Well, that didn't work. Sorry, but I'd really appreciate the help. I printed the screen showing where I placed the font files from Gentium.. but I don' t think that did anything. When I tried copy / paste from Logos4 the greek still didn't transfer. Please Help me!! Thanks
You need to install the font, not just copy the folder into a new location. Put the folder back in its original place, then double-click on the Gentium and GentiumAlt files. This should open Font Book, which should have an install button for each font.
ok, well, i tried double clicking the files and they don't run. I expanded the files already, and they are in their original folder. Hmm.. maybe they are in the wrong place. Sorry, not following you. Here's another screen shot. Which file should I be running?
You're double clicking on the wrong files. Try these:

Ok, so I opened those two files marked with red arrows, and then added the files to the font folder as shown in the screen print below. I also restarted my computer. Nothing. Still displays the same. Is it possible I'm putting the fonts in the wrong directory? I've put them in Library/Fonts. COuld it be a problem with Microsoft Word???
You shouldn't need to copy the files anywhere. If you click the "Install" button in the Font Book window, all the file copying stuff should be handled for you automagically.
I've removed all the files and folders associated out of the Font folder. Added the font files to the HD/Library/Fonts folder and still nothing. Could it be a problem with Word? What else can I do??
Did you open the fonts in Font Book and click the install button?
Thanks for all your helps. Please keep at it.. I'm sure we will break this problem eventually. I've followed both of the suggestions. Yes, I've installed the fonts (see 1st picture) and yes, I have place them in the Font Book (see 2nd picture). Is there any special isntructions for copy & pate? do I need to paste special into Word? Do I need to configure something in Word so it recognizes the new fonts??? Thanks for your help
