I'm looking for a resource(s) from a 'reformed' or 'baptistic' stance that FL has rebutting the Evangelical and Catholic synergy.

    Evangelical and Catholic synergy.

I sure don't know my comparative theology - I think of synergism as Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Anabaptist, Arminian ... never thought to toss evangelical into the mix.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

    Does this fit the bill?

    Tyndale Bulletin Volume 61
    James, Soteriology, and Synergism
Alexander Stewart (Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary)

Disclaimer, I have not read the article, just performed a search on "synergism NEAR baptist".

Of course if you do not have the journal in question it won't do you much good.
