L/V 10+ Tip of the Day #131 Search and the Passage List
Another tip of the day (TOTD) series for Logos/Verbum 10. They will be short and often drawn from forum posts. Feel free to ask questions and/or suggest forum posts you'd like to see included. Adding comments about the behavior on mobile and web apps would be appreciated by your fellow forumites. A search for "L/V 10+ Tip of the Day site:community.logos.com" on Google should bring the tips up as should this Reading List within the application.
This tip is inspired by the forum post: 23.0 Beta 1 (23.0.09) - Logos Forums
One can limit the portion of a book searched by Passage list. In this example, the returned results for sense:blessed is identical to the original Passage list.
One can also apply the same restriction within the search argument. On the left is the search sense:blessed across the Bible; on the right AND milestone:passagelist:"LIST: Beatitudes of Revelation"
Note that in order to get results I had to switch from searching just the NRSV to searching my top five Bible to show that one can use search to find the cross-references and translation notes associated with the Passage List. However, there is a reported bug that causes these to return the same results i.e. not distinguish the footnote type.
However, if I switch to a book search I can find cross-reference note with references to the passages in the passage list;
Similarly, I can do the same for translation notes:
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

sense:blessed IN milestone:passagelist:"LIST: Beatitudes of Revelation" would be more natural.

They return the same result as passagelist:"PL Name" which defaults to finding cross references in Bible Search. A Books Search will reveal the differences between footnote types.
