Formatting references when pasting into Microsoft Word

I often copy and paste material from Logos into a research document in Microsoft Word.

When I do so, a footnote is automatically created (very helpful), but is there a way to change the formatting of the text copied and the footnote reference. 

I'm not sure if this is a Word thing or I can change some default setting in Logos?

It is sometimes time consuming to have to change the format manually.

Not sure that this is what you mean but:

1. From the Application Menu (vertical three dots at end of tool bar) select program settings
2. Program settings > General > Citation style select the style you need from the picklist.
