Data issue: lack of links to other books

I recognize that making links to precise locations in other books is not a trivial task, even verifying that they are the same edition can be time consuming. On the other hand, the linkage within Logos is a major selling point. But here is an example of reality from Hastings, James, ed. The Greater Men and Women of the Bible: Adam–Joseph. Edinburg: T&T Clark, 1913.
The green boxes are instances where the resource is in my library but not linked; the gold box is the instance where the resource is in my library and linked. Approximate 14% of the resources are actually linked. To me, this implies that no systematic updating at been occurring on a reasonable schedule e.g. every 5 years. I suggest (others may have better ideas) that:
- bibliographic updates where the link is simply to the work not a location in it, be updated within the next two years and on a regular cycle thereafter. Reference links also need to be addressed but I've got no ready proposal for them.
- a new color code scheme for references and bibliographies be created that shows the title exists within the Logos ecosystem but not for the same edition (unlinked but separate from the unknown to Logos books)
- bibliographic data be tagged as a searchable field in all resources.
