Is this a decent set? I like the one volume on Galatians I have, but have not used it really except to look it over.
What do you think of this set, y'all?

Overall it’s fine. I’m sure you noticed is not really a commentary, but a series of expository sermons on the text. At that price is not such a bad deal if you can afford it.

In previous sales I've been able to pick up individual volumes for 50% off. I've tended to find the volumes by authors other than R. Kent Hughes to be of greater depth, so have preferred this way of adding to my collection.

This is very interesting. For me, picking up the New Testament only is actually $8 MORE expensive than buying the OT and NT together through the March deal.
You also linked the Preaching Suite Premium above. I can buy that for only $50 more than the deal on the Preaching The Word OT/NT and pick up many more books. I don't usually go for packages anymore, but there are some good ones in there that I would actually use.

It's a good set that I find helpful. However, it's a supplementary set that you will want to look at after you have done your exegetical work with more detailed commentaries. If you have plenty of those, then go for it.

Through the kindness of God and a decent book budget over the last 23 years, I do have plenty. I have all the highest-rated sets except the Word Biblical Commentary. I have a couple volumes of those and the format does not work with my type of brain. [8-|]

I picked it up this weekend. its on sale again. I really enjoy. Its for my personal study while studying the Bible.
